In 2006 we had a new PGA Professional accept the club's Head Professional position. Dennis Dolin comes to us from Waverly C.C. (located in Portland, Oregon), where he served as Assistant PGA Professional for 13 years. During his tenure there he maintained the most successful Caddie program in the Pacific Northwest. Many of those participants have gone on to become very good High School and Collegiate players. His mentoring has helped many young players learn as much about life as golf itself. "I have some big plans for Junior Golf at Indian Creek, including a Junior Club Championship and some team matches with other facilities in the area. The parents and kids are very excited." Hood River is indeed very lucky to have Dennis here.

PGA - Junior Golf Leader Award
The PGA of America, at the end of every year recognizes its outstanding professionals and members who have (in their view) contributed above the normal high standards that all PGA Professionals adhere to. Dennis Dolin, through all his "extra-efforts" in supporting junior golf was awarded the Junior Golf Support Achievement Award. All of us here at Indian Creek are extremely proud of his accomplishments and we are looking forward to working with Dennis and his staff to broaden our efforts in promoting junior golf in and around our community.
